GREATEST TEACHER EVER. He is a great guy, I enjoy his classes and while he is not the easiest instructor he sure isn't the hardest either. I taking two more classes with him next semester. Probably the best or the next to the best teacher I have ever had.

Dr. Persky is by far the best professor I had. He's funny and sarcastic. Yes, he might go off topic. But I found that those are the best classes. He gives you the information you need. And btw, for those who don't like the fact you have to read the books, you're supposed to read the books. It's the extra tangents in class that make it interesting.

OK so you don't really learn all that much.. its a boring topic. But Persky is hilarious. Don't take him if you don't have a sense of humor or if you take things personally. He likes to pick on his students (in a loveable fashion) and tell really crude jokes, but that's just Persky. He's incredibly funny and always willing to help you!

Dr Persky is a great guy and is a very awesome teacher. I have learned so much from broadcast history. He is very approachable and will always help you out. Very tough class that is made fun and seems to help grasp the ideas and material better

Be Careful! All you have is 3 tests - thats all your points. It's true that he's funny, but he doesn't teach very well. He doesn't give study guides, so you've got to read a lot to do well on the tests. He curves though, which helps.

Great teacher! Very friendly and funny. He offered several oppertunities to get extra credit by volunteering for OPT or KSMU. Really enjoyed 2 of his classes (med 325 & Women in Sitcoms) and am looking forward to taking more.

He's really funny, makes 8 am classes fun. Make sure you go to class and study really hard for his tests. He doesn't give study guides and rarely gives extra credit.
