Claudia is an excellent professor. She reminded me why I love to write & create stories because she showed me how good I could be at it. All readings are short stories as this is the course name & she allows for extra credit & editing as many times as you want. She truly wants you to do well. Dr.Ricci is by far the best professor at SUNY Albany. Very helpful, very motivated and truly loves her job. I was a TA for her and she even took us out to Starbucks at the end of the semester. You truly will work for your grade

Most people whine and groan about how horrible of an experience they had in anyone of her classes. Well it wasn't the professor, but their lack of a college student's mentality. Sure, she is a tough grader and yes you have to write intensively, but welcome to college people. She opened my creativity and brought out a hidden quality within me.

If the other raters think she grades easily, they must be used to Bs and Cs. She is a tough grader, it's nearly impossible to get an A. Huge amounts of writing. This is the best class i have taken so far. Some people claim that there is a lot of writing but it's not at all. She's very fair and always wants to help. But if you dont like to write then i suggest you dont take this class because there's a 20 page paper at the end and at least 1-2 papers a week.

this class is a 400 level and its the easiest class i've ever taken. u read stories and talk about them, like ur in elementary school. u write short papers that are on easy topics and just one long paper thats so easy. NO tests at all, she grades fair and lets u redo everything to up ur grade easy A
