HORRIBLE. Does not use blackboard or power points for notes. He is very old and goes over material too quick. Usually gives about 2 quizzes a week and very hard. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Probably the worst teacher i have ever had. he can make an interesting subject boring, and his quizzes are based on obscure sentences from the book. useless lectures, read the book and you better memorize it

He takes attendance but his lectures are useless. Read the chapters every week and you should be ok on quizes. Mid-term and final are not hard, just time consuming. Basicly you are given 30 short essay questions and he chooses 3. So you better memorize them all. He grades fairly easy on his tests. I would avoid but it is not too bad.

Stahnke is old school. Class is pure lecture, attendance is mandatory, but his class is pointless. Quizzes are based on obscure, random sentences from the book. Pretty much need to know every word of the chapter to ace the quiz every week.

Prof Stahnke is old school for sure. Pure lecture! Quizzes are doable if you read the text well and he throws out the lowest grade each half. Mid term and finals have study guides that he draws exactly from. The information he requires is from a combination of lecture and reading.

Everything about the guy makes the class impossible!!!! He talks in mono-tone the whole class everyclass, he makes rudes gestures about everyone and it is impossible to get a high grade in the class unless you already know the textbook and have a background in POLS, avoid it! his weekely quizes and tests are not covered in his lectrs nor the book

AVOID THIS CLASS!!!! There are many other teachers. His quizzes every week are difficult because they are created from random sentences in the book not the main points. He does lectures every day that are pointless and doesn't go off book, but attendance is mandatory. I always study and outline each chapter, but always get 15/20 or lower!!

Lectures are pointless and he find the most random little sentence questions from the book for the quizzes. Thought the test were easy though. I didn't enjoy this class, very hard to pull off an A, I would read the chapter then try to study the main points then the subpoints, then reread it and still got 14/20 on almost every quiz... GOOD LUCK

Not as much boring as it is hard. This guy never looks up to see if a student has a question. I raised my hand several times and he never looked at me, so I walked out. He rambles and babbles about his personal life, and tries to put them in to concept with what he is teaching and confuses the hell out of everyone. Stay away if you want to pass

Guy is a jerk. No help. Test every week on textbook. Lectures dont mean squat so i dont know why i stayed. Tests are over sub-sub points. Very rarely are questions based on any of the main points the chapter touched on. Stay away, there are plenty of other teachers for this subject.

STAY AWAY!!! Honest to God worst prof I have ever had. I am a pols major and I dont know how I swung a B. The guy is a jerk. Lectures mean nothing just read the book VERY carefully. He told my class he grades all essays together so if he is in a bad mood everyone gets a bad grade. Quiz every week and if he says stuff wont be on there dont believe.

Horrible horrible horrible horrible TERRIBLE. Worst teacher I have ever had. Rambles through the whole class period, a quiz every week over nothing that he talks about so you have to read each 50 page chapter very carefully every week, not helpful at all and midterm and final - he gave us a study guide of 30 questions and picked 2 to answer. Terrible professor. Do not take this class unless you want to retake it in the end.

He is absolutely terrible. We have 1-2 quizzes a week. You have to read the chapters to even have a chance of passing them and the chapters are 50 pages long. His lectures have nothing to do with the book or the quizzes. STAY AWAY!!!!!

100% the WORST teacher I have ever had, and probably ever will have in my entire education. He rambles and is impossible to understand. He is also extremely rude and calls people out. Quizzes every week that are insanely worded and do not come his lectures whatsoever. I wouldnt take him again if I had to!

I absolutely love prof stank. He's honestly the best professor I've ever had! So what if he rambles? Everybody needs a crazy old man, and prof stank is mine. Alex H. is just jealous that I got a higher grade on my midterm than her ;) Seriously though, this guy is terrible. Great class to chill on facebook though.

If you want to be bored, take this class! Everybody seriously fell asleep and he would always tell us if we are going to sleep, then leave. Half the class did leave, or didnt show up. All this guy does is TALK TALK TALK and its very very boring. I dont recommend him at all.
