He clearly has a passion and seeing him talk about drawing and art always left me inspired. What I like about him is that he can differentiate between what's essential and what's trivial. What he really cares about is how well you execute the assignments rather than if they are turned in on time. He really wants everybody to succeed.

Don't get me wrong, He's a good professor. He'll push you to work beyond your comfort zone, but he doesn't really give you any direction or tell you how. He knows what hes doing and is really good at explaining things, but his classes are intense. Be expected to put in a TON of work, and don't expect an A.

Great teacher! His directions are clear and he is constantly demonstrating new techniques so class is not boring. He takes an interest in what his students are working on and his critiques don't make you feel like your on trial for an art crime.

Cracco is a great professor and an expert in his field. He requires students put forth the expected effort for college level classes. If you have an interest in printmaking I would encourage taking one of his classes especially the experimental printmaking course.

He has his moments of difficulty, we all do. He isn't always clear, and does seem to have picks *But he makes his picks work harder than the rest of the class, they don't get a break, and no I wasn't a pick. But the man knows Photoshop better than the peop

gave ideas once you did them he said he didnt like them and liked original works. not fair. told me he would grade on all my works finished, but gave me a grade before he saw all my works. talked to ohters in the class and they got lower grades then they thought they deserved. contacted him about my grade and never heard from him.

printmaking and photoshop classes. Take my advice, take the photoshop from a teacher that doesn't have personal issues with students that are more talented than he is! If you want to take printmaking, I feel sorry for you.
