I think she may be bi-polar. She picks favorites. She can be very nasty or very nice to patients and students during clinicals. If she decides she doesn't like you for some random reason she will be out to get you throughout your school and professional experience if you later work where she holds clinicals. Avoid at all costs.

This instructor is unreasonable and inappropriate at times and uses positive reinforcement at others. Her humiliation will not make better nurses. She looks foolish in front of physicians and floor RNs when she belittles her students. It is time for her to retire before she finds herself in front of the dean for going too far.

Lape is known for being the hardest lecture and clinical instructor in the nursing program at Mott.She definitely expects the most from her students,occasionally more than expected at their current level.If you can make it through her classes you will be better off for having had her.

This lady is AWESOME!! She is so helpful, take advantage of her office hours!! She makes things so fun and interesting with her great personality and passion of her job. She can be harsh sometimes, but its great motivation!!
