He makes attendance mandatory, but all he does in class is lead discussions. They may have something to do with class if you are lucky, but usually not. Definitely buy the textbook because you will be teaching yourself. I don't know if he doesn't know the material, or just doesn't feel like teaching it, or what.

Amazing Professor! This class can be challenging if you don't go to class or have trouble paying attention during class. The assignments are thoroughly presented and it's up to you to stay on top of them! overall great class, great professor!

HEA 316 was a pretty interesting course. Dr. Schulz is a great professor although it can be boring sometimes, he really knows his material, and always encourages class discussion. If you attend class and do the 3 homework assignments offered, you will be okay. Study guides answers are given prior to exams as well. Great professor!

mr schulz is awesome..HE LOVES BIKE RIDING so get ready to hear about it a few times..be prepared for a lot of group work but trust it benefits throughout the semester his test are realy tricky sometime but he lets u have a cheat sheet during every test! cool guy for such a boring subj.

He is an awesome teacher who does his best to make sure the class understands the topic before moving on and seems to get just as upset as the student if someone fails an assignment. He is always willing to help and a super nice guy, wish he taught more courses at UNCG!

Dr. Schulz makes env health eaiser than you think it will be. U will never want to go class but you get 4 points a day and it will help at the end. No need to take notes. Quizes are basically take home and u are sure to an A on all. The only that is kinda tricky is the Midterm. Overall he's the best teacher for this class.

He made the class work in groups the whole semester, which the class did not like. Very boring class especially at 8 am. As long as you take good notes and he lets you make a cheat sheet for the exam, this class is actually easy to pass.
