Dr. Bruckner is so personable and absolutely hilarious. It is impossible to say anything bad about her classes. She appears scatterbrained but once she gets down to business, you'll find that she is almost intimidatingly brilliant. Love her!

I will always be grateful to her for exposing me to The Faerie Queene, Chaucer, Norway, and Voss. A strong encourager of deconstrucive and metacognitive thinking. Very energetic and passionate. Papers were not just didactic exercises but true learning experiences.

I graduated in 2002. I tried to take EVERY class Lynne taught. Not only is she an AWESOME person, but she is a GREAT prof. (and, mentor and thesis tutor). If you take one of her classes, she will teach passion for feminism, self-identity, and of course, literature.

Dr. Bruckner is an uber good teacher, she keeps the class active and interested, is understanding, and explains everything with passion-and very clearly, at that. I love her classes! Her exams are moderately easy, especially if you have paid attention and came to class. She grades the papers fairly, but doesn't just give you a grade...
