Dominguez has a lot of knowledge in his field! He has a lot of stories to tell and a lo of Historical places he has visit. He is great when it comes to teaching and giving feedback. The textbook is not required for in class lesson but will be for the assignments that are due at the end of the semester. Don't leave the assignments to the last min!

Professor Rodriguez knows plenty about his field and had a lot of knowledge to share. The tests are easy since they're all take home. however, I found very difficult to stay awake because of the monotone way he teaches class. You must attend class or your grade will drop significantly

He gives excessively long lectures that are usually not about the subject at all. His tests are take-home tests, but yet no one received an A. I don't think he grades correctly. Every time you miss class he drops your grade a full letter, so you must attend. Honestly, take a different teacher; one that's more interesting.

Best and greatest teacher at Rio hondo college. He' s funny, great human being, and a very modest caring loving professor to all his students. He is always there for you, and helps you ever step of the way. I advice everyone to take his class. It's fun and you learn a lot about history without the boring lectures.

Mr. Rodriguez is very sweet and he spends most of the class time showing us documentaries and recalling his childhood or current life events. He's very easy to pass but sometimes his lectures get boring and it seems very repetitive. His tests are take home tests which makes passing them very easy. Just show up and you will pass.

Mr. Rodriguez class is all lecture, a hour and a half of sitting and hearing him talk about the stupidest stuff with a mono tone. Hes not a hard grader however his grading is weird. He allows everything in groups but I don't understand how I received a B and my friend an A when everything was done together.

He's a great teacher! Every assignment can be done in groups, a lot of extra credit, and in total through out the semester he gives about 4 assignments. The final was a take home multiple choice test. In class all he does is talk, 100% lecture.

Professor as a person is great and I did learn some useful info about my own culture but as a professor he is extremely boring. He goes off on tangents and strays away from what he is teaching so much that it makes it hard to follow along.

Nice older man, hard of hearing so you have to speak up. Talks alot his days growing up and his companion. Not alot of work, occasional notes, exams can be done in group or by yourself. Final is a take home but make sure the reading is done before the end of the semester, Two typed essays on the book. Suggest checking it out instead of buying.

Honestly this was the most difficult class i have taken! All this man ever talked about was FOOD! And it was mandatory to attend class! I mean i missed a couple months of class but I did however ACE all the exams(that i actually took). Overall I do not recommend that anyone takes this class unless you plan to actually learn!

omg this class can't be any easier. Everything is done in groups& he lets you turn in assignments before they are due so he can provide feedback on it. He also gives extra credit which really isn't necessary. I took his class during intersession& it was an easy A

This teacher is highly knowledgeable of the subject. He takes laid back, intellectual approach to ifnorming his studnts extensively; Buy a notebook for notes, and prepare to learn toons of fascinating and knowledgeable information. I would recomend any studnet who is interested in learning about the Mexican Culture to take Mr. Rodriguez's class.
