He gives you everything you need to be successful, highlights important things on the exam, hands out study guides, tells you what is expected on the cases. Mostly lecture but he doesn't waste time.

had him for Retailing. He highlights topics during the lecture that will be on the exam. Then he give a study guide which is based on the exam. While not an openbook exam, he was very helpful in making sure that the test was on the material he covered and thought was important. He even took the time to review case paper drafts and provided feed

Rivas is a lost cause. Yes the course itself was very easy on the surface but if you do poorly on one test, kiss the A goodbye. Tests are subpar and no room to improve. His comments can come off as rude, as he likes to poke jokes at mental disabilities. Very vague professor, if you ask a question, he will never say the right answer

interesting, entertaining, unfiltered, rational, captivating. He keeps the classes short and to the point. Usually keeps exams to multiple choice and attempts to remove subjectivity from grading. Occasional commentary is not for the easily offended, but is never hurtful or ignorant. Would recommend.
