Comment:

If you're all about getting an A and nothing else out of the course Dansby is the guy for you. You don't have to do a thing. Just show up when he goes over the exam. He gives you all the answers in the exact order of the final test. Just fill in your scantron ahead of time. Turn in the two 1,000 ish word papers and get an immediate A. Easy peasy

Easiest A I've ever had. No book, no need to take notes. Just show up to the class before the exam and he gives you the exam itself and all the answers. Two exams, 50 questions each. One final exam, 60 questions. Two 1,000 word essays that he barely glances at before writing "100%" on. Only thing is you have to endure his rantings and opinions...

Great professor, there are 2 map tests and 2 multiple choice tests, plus a final. There are 2 papers that are 1000 words each. He gives the answers for the MC tests and final and a study guide for the map tests. There is no book for the class. Easiest class I have ever taken.

A super easy class. He gives you all the answers to his tests including the final. The map tests are probably the only thing thats hard, if anything. The two essays are simple too. All you really have to do is show up to review day. Hes a funny guy although his lectures get long as he tends to ramble on about things. No need to take notes.

If you want an easy class, then this is the class for you. He only gives a couple of tests, and he gives you all of the answers in advance. Lectures are really boring and often have nothing to do with anything that is going to be on the tests. Overall, one of the easiest classes I've ever taken, but also one of the most boring.

Comment:

Dansby is an old school prof meaning he doesn't use P.P. or B.B., he just reads straight from a book. Very boring but overall very easy to pass. Reviews the test the class before it's due and tells you exactly what answer he expects. Most exams are short answer & take home. He tends to ramble a lot and is very opinionated but he's a nice guy.

Took this class as a GE. This professor is interesting. His lectures usually stay on topic. the class before test he gives out questions and answers for the test. This is an easy A class just show up and pay attention. He only took role twice during the semester. Would take him again he is a genuinely funny and kind guy.

on first day rambles off about things. no powerpoint lecture. unorganized and does not go by syllabus. 2 test and a final. (answers given for all) and i believe we will just have 2 map test only. 2 papers 1,000 each. he gives study guides for map, but answers are not given for those so study well for the maps because it can lower your grade down.

Graded on exams, two map tests, and two short papers. Attendance is not necessary, but I enjoyed his lectures. Interesting materials and he is a pretty funny guy. He gives you all of the answers to the exams. Super easy A!

Professor Dansby is awesome! Easy-going and has a great sense of humor! 2 tests and a final that include maps and a term paper (1,000 words). He gives you study guides for the maps and also gives all the answers for the tests! I would highly recommend him if you are trying to find an easy A GE class!

easiest prof i have ever had. gives all the answers before exam, have to memorize two maps and write two 1,000 word papers but its nothing. if you need to knock out GE courses and want an A, definitley reccommend. no textbook needed

Absolutely no structure. He rambles about nonsense. Does not follow the syllabus. His class is so boring but you have to go because you never know when he's going to have a review. He gives the answers to the tests. Study for map tests. I got A's on the 2 papers and all the scantron exams but the 2 map tests screwed me. I do not recommend!

Dansby is a very nice guy. He likes to talk about the news that is happening today. His first exam was take home. His second exam was take home, but bring it back to write in a blue book. His third exam was multiple choice, and he gives the answers prior to the exam. Easy B for me. Although I learned nothing.

Very approachable during office hrs. don't have to buy any books. he offers 2 writing assignments (easy) & 2 tests & 1 final which include map ?s. super easy he reviews tests prior to test day. attendance not mandatory. Great professor, 2 exams, 1 final and 4 short writing assignments. He gives grades just for doing work, study guides goes over tests. Tests include maps but are easy California maps. easy class just show on study days.

Class was extremely boring and I did not learn a single thing about economics (not that I had a prior interest anyways). Attendance not really mandatory, he does not take roll. I really only attended on the day he would hand out the exams which were take-home. He gave us the answers prior to the test for those who would take notes.

Very nice man, but very boring class. I honestly did not like attending class, but unless you have a friend that likes coming to class, have them notify about the upcoming papers & such. But overall there are only 1 paper & 2 midterms & the final, but if you show him you really want to pass hell help you. I'm glad I got a C.
