Eric really knows his stuff. He can answer any question you have about Pro Tools and/or editing in general, and has a lot of practical experience to back it up. He's a tough grader, but he's such a nice guy it didn't really even bother me

Eric is awesome! His lectures are fun, and he is a great teacher. There's a good amount of material, but he explains it all in ways that make it easy. We watched a lot of video examples too. Great class, great teacher! Highly recommended!

Eric is awesome. Very lively. He definitely converted me to FS instead of MP&E. You learn a ton about the industry and get to see many films in work print form. Really great class. Highly recommend it for everyone.

Taking his class was one of the reasons I chose film scoring over engineering. He was very knowledgeable about the field, and even brought in the work prints from the fils he's worked on to show how it's all done. I don't know if he's still teaching the intro course since he's been promoted to chair of the FS department.

He's worked in the film industry and tells you a lot about how it works. But he mostly just parroted the book and didn't teach us much about what makes a great score (we studied Lethal Weapon 3, just because he worked on it!), just superficialities. I'm not a FS major but was interested in scoring; I didn't get what I was looking for.

Great teacher. He teaches you a lot and is very helpfull. He teaches you what to do to make your work look professional. He leaves it up to you to do it though. Very encouraging but will always let you know of a new way to improve your work so you can get better. Take him!

Eric is very cool, available, kind, respectful. He has tons of interesting stories about his experience in the movie industry. But in the course, he hasn't got much to do. The class is a very superficial course for dummies where there's hardly anything to learn.
