Warning the the first test matters. You Definitely will not pass it but you need 55% or higher to have a chance at an A. Projects are long but are easy to do well on. tests are impossible. Studied like crazy for excel test and barely made B on it . Krippel is very helpful. GO TO OFFICE HOURS!!! Start every thing early!!!

Great Professor! He does talk pretty fast in class so you have to pay attention and you can't miss class. You learn new material everyday and there are no reviews for tests. He does not curve. You are expected to learn the material and attend class. But isn't that what college is all about? Great teacher!!!

This class is the root of all evil. So much work to do so do not procrastinate. Do not even attempt to study for the first exam because everyone fails no lie. Nice man. Is very passionate about what he does and wants to help. Just a very difficult subject.

He knows his stuff and is very serious about his job. He will teach you exactly what you need to know if you let him. Least of all my teachers to complain about. He will help you and his tests are all that hard. Gives you all the notes you need you just need to follow along. Recommend taking him, you'll actually learn something

This guy is really fast and really helpful. My average was a "C" and he decided to make the final our class grade so i ended up with an "A" He is really organized and clear in his lectures. He is mostly in his office for any walk-ins. he is very influential; I'm a finance major and taking him as my advisor.

For the first 8 weeks of class he lectures nonstop. Then you start your project and have a 13 chapter test that everybody fails. Concentrate on the projects that will build on one another. Groups are critical b/c everybody has the same project to do.

One of the best teachers I have had at coastal. The class is a lot of work but once you are done you really feel like you learned something because his class is the closet you will get to real life stuff. The test didn't matter at all just do good on the projects and you will be fine. I thought the class was fun and never miss class.

Great professor. Dr. Krippel absolutely loves his job. He is very helpful with projects, etc. Yes. his first exam is very difficult, but your overall grades are weighted in favor of the projects rather than the exams. Do well on the projects, and you'll do well in the course. I made a 60 on the first test and got an A in the class.

The tests in this class were ridiculously hard. Don't expect any curves either. Good thing is the projects are worth a good portion of your grade and you are allowed to make corrections on them to get better grades. Getting an A is definitely not out of the question but don't expect to ace the tests.

As many students I also took him twice. I made a D the first time and a D the second time. I had done better the second time, but there is ABSOLUTLY NO NEGOTIATIONS WITH DR KRIPPEL. He will help you outside of class, but he will still not be very clear. If you aren't going to read the entire book and are not getting a tutor, HE IS NOT FOR YOU!!
