A very rude and unprofessional professor, dont care for his attitude and can tell no other students in my class did either. Luckily his class wasnt too hard, but was a bit overwhelming at the start. Way too quiet and annoying and moves way too fast to really follow along with. Sit at the front thats the only way youll hear him teach

I hope you hate your weekends, this guy piles on the homework. He has exact lines he wants you to be coloring in. Rookie mistakes? Advanced knowledge? He will make you pay for either. To his credit his lectures are decent, but his grading criteria is murky at best. Random bad grade? You probably broke one of his unwritten rules...

Claims, as most CS professors do, that you should use code that is the most efficient for memory usage, and don't submit code that you wouldn't be comfortable releasing for actual use. When on the assignment refreshing how to do a bubble sort, I received an F because I used the built in sort function rather than typing the entire thing out!

Do not take a programming class with this guy. He has extremely strict, specific rules about how he likes programs to be written, that go against what I have been taught and what the textbook told me to do. It is impossible to know what he wants. I withdrew and lost my money rather than stay in the class and deal with his ridiculous rules.

He's an ass, but he wasn't a bad teacher. He does go somewhat quickly, but the material isn't difficult enough for that to be a big problem. Don't take anything he says personally and do the homework and you'll be fine.

he docks for adding code to make the programs more robust. He knows what he's doing but penalizes you for showing you know what's going on. Isn't a fair teacher and should be avoided at all costs.

I never even took his class. I talked to him one time on the phone and thought of 'Nick Burns The Company Computer Guy from Saturday Night Live. The problem is the guy on SNL is funny. McKeown was not. I have to take this class by Internet. Hopefully I can find someone else.

He is a great teacher. He knows his stuff and is really willing to help. Goes a little fast but if you have questions he is alwasy willing to help. Very funny too and makes class fun. I would tell anyone to take this class. Keep up the good work dad!!!

Very nice, easy-going teacher. As far as the class goes - goes a little fast for people who've never done VB before, but is willing to help. Pay attention and take notes and you should do OK.
