Dr. Pedro is into hands-on learning, which is a good thing if you are in a teacher education program. There are many opportunities to give mock lessons to the class. Sometimes the main focus is on class discussion, which is fun and also gets you thinking about your future and some of the challenges you may face in your career. Very intelligent lady

She always says not to be the type of teacher that lecture the students, but that's ALL she does. Sure, shes a nice lady. But do I really need to sit there for an hour and ten minutes and listen to useless lectures that are NOT even helping me!? Stay away from this class if possible.

Dr. Pedro is an amazing person and an amazing teacher! She really wants to help you learn and enjoys teaching. Her class is tough. She expects everyone to work hard and do their best but she does her best too. I hope I can be as good a teacher as she is.

Amazing profressor! I have gone out of my way and even gotten overrides to take her class. Make sure to take her classes!! I don't think my college experience would be near as good if I hadn't had her as a professor. I intend on finding away to have her every semester because she's so amazing. The education dept is lucky to have her as a professor.

You can't get a better professor! Do anything you can to take one of her classes, you will be a better teacher for it! I don't know what the department ever did without her.
