This is a challenging course. His tests are difficult because of the way they are worded. RENT THE BOOK! I didn't attend many classes after the first exam. If you read the chapters, with the key terms, you should pass the tests with minimal stress. The lectures alone will not get you an A on the tests. Any edition of the book will do.

He was alright. His tests were not that hard if you attend class and do the key terms. Overall I didnt really like him that much but the class was not that bad.

This professor is a really nice guy and if u go to his office hours he will help you. The class is just really difficult and his PowerPoints dont go into detail about the material. There r only 4 exams and a final so you have to do good on them and they are really challenging.

Mr. Bishop is extremely informed on the subject matter. Tests are very easy and come right of the book and key words he emails you. Final replaces the lowest test grade.

As a conservative I would not recommend attending this class. I always attend class, however in this case his bias got me to the point that I decided I should just read everything online myself. You can pass without attending in my opinion, but it isn't the most easy task. His study guides are not the best and some of the material is from in class.

Go to class... gives out a key words study guide before every test that do not apply to the tests at all. Final is easy. All other tests are hard. No actual study guides. Only 5 grades total including exam, but exam replaces one of the 4 tests. Nice guy, dont recommend

Dr. Bishop is an awesome person when you go talk to him in office hours. However, his classes are a bit dry. A lot of the material can be learned just from reading the text book. So, I completely recommend READING THE TEXTBOOK. I am positive that I would have done a lot better if I had not only listened to the lecture, but read the textbook.

This class is very boring. It is made up of 5 tests with 30 questions on each. You do not have to go to class to pass, but you should read the book, look at powerpoints, or go to the Pirate Academic Success Center. Lectures are boring. He is willing to help outside of class.

I was not a fan. I went to class everyday and still did not do well on tests. I probably did better than the people who didn't go to class, but most of his tests came straight from the book. I wish I found that out earlier. He is funny outside of class, but in class he is pretty boring and monotone. I would seek other options.

Professor Bishop is a nice guy, but the class is somewhat boring and based on four tests (as well as a final exam). Attendance is not mandatory whatsoever, and he puts all of the slides on BlackBoard. At the end of the semester, he will take your lowest test grade, and replace it with what you got on the final exam.

YOU HAVE TO BASICALLY TEACH YOURSELF. He gets of subject too much. I had to basically teach myself. I never opened the book. He puts all lectures on Blackboard

The only grades you receive are exam grades. There ate 5 exams (including final) and he replaces the final with the lowest exam grade. There's no opportunity for extra credit. Class is optional. He puts all his lectures on BB. I didn't need the book. Lectures are not too informative, so get the book if you want to teach yourself.

Was an ok professor. Attendance isn't mandatory, and the class was really boring. Your grade in the class is based entirely off of 3 tests and the final, which replaces your lowest test score. Didn't really learn anything the entire semester. Though he is helpful if you talk to him outside of class. Really nice guy overall.

He's a really good professor! I struggled on the first test and went to see him in his office hours, and gave me practice exams and would give me feedback on why I got the ones wrong. His lectures are boring and you don't have to go to class. He's a super nice and go see him during his office hours if you struggle!

There's no feedback in this course because you only get graded by 5 exams. All the exams are extremely difficult. His grading scale is difficult to understand. My best advice is to go to every single class and always ask questions. It's a difficult class, but not impossible.

All that count for a grade are the tests, there are no other assignments or hw. The class is relatively easy if you go to class or review material on your own. Attendance is not mandatory, but go to lectures if not willing to study outside of class. Lectures are very boring. Makes it clear what will be on tests and study guides with whats on test.
