Comment:
Very disappointing SCM502 - Operations and Supply Chain. This class is not a Master's degree level class. You will spend more than 50% of your time working on ridiculous excel files. Excessive use of inventory and forecast problems. OPS and SCM is much more than this.

I was considering the SCM major at ASU because of its reputation. I was also excited about the fact that the department chair would be teaching this class. After a semester, I am terribly disappointed. I am sticking to the marketing major instead. Don't bother taking this class. The others down below have said enough.

Warning. The professor assigns quizzes that are designed for excel work, but he expects you to be able to do them by hand in ridiculously short time. It's a hybrid course in which he DOESN'T even teach whatsoever. He uses assistants and grades very strictly. Avoid this class by all means if possible. Seriously, this course will damage your GPA.

Not very clear. Hybrid class that does not post videos until the second half of the week. Expectations are murky at best, and assignments are changed only days before the due date.

Dr. John Fowler is one of the most dictatorial Heads of Department that I have ever come across. He does not believe that students should do internships, and has denied students internships and co-ops even during recession time. He is most disliked by all international students, because he forces them to graduate according to his will (even to the

This is the course at which he is really good. You can become an 'expert' in deterministic scheduling in one semester.
