he is a nice guy but the class is a drag. you make posters in class and the lectures are surface level and dont delve into the depths of the content. the assignments were unclear and the dates never seemed to be fixed. ALWAYS ask what assignments are due and when at the end of every class or you will miss one. i wouldnt take him again if avoidable

Dr. Vang is a very unique and brilliant individual. In my opinion, his teaching strategies and course materials lack what the course teaches; however, he was still very informative. He is very knowledgeable about cultural diversity and language acquisition and he is especially helpful in teaching and understanding EL students. 2 thumbs up. JA
