Pretty simple online course with a light course load. I recommend him if you want to get a class over and done with. Only thing was that he was kinda unorganized when it came to uploading assignments on blackboard. But, overall he was a straightforward guy and basically is handing you an easy A as long as you keep up with deadlines.

Showing up and participating will take you a long way in this class. There was only one quiz, a couple of papers, and a few presentations. Professor Getter is really understanding and is pretty flexible on due dates.

Easy A, assignments few and far between. No textbook, but a lot of youtube and dvds. I wouldn't recommend him if you're a music major, but definitely a good choice for the fine arts requirement.

Attendance isnt mandatory but since he is so lenient is only respectful to go and at least show your face at least once a week. Cool dude, rare and easy assignments. Interesting discussions. Any music story you have to tell, he loves hearing about it. Nice chill class almost impossible to fail.

This is an EASY A. If you are a music major, I recommend taking a different class since you don't learn much about music in this class (mostly you just listen to it), but if you need a class just to fulfill your fine arts requirement and you want an easy A, TAKE THIS CLASS. It is extremely easy.

EASY A! Attendance is NOT mandatory.There was a concert report and term paper that were so easy! I made mine up! There are quizzes that are extremely easy (vocab and music tracks). The class itself is kind of boring, but it is a GREAT GPA booster! If you need to fulfill your Fine Arts requirement, DEFINATELY take this class!!

This professor is definitely laid back. He gave quizzes which were easy (vocab and tracks). There was a concert report and a term paper for this class as well as presentations along with them. He usually used the textbook to refer to topics and showed us movies and video clips. Overall, I think it's an easy A!

he is a great teacher. his assignments were easy and he was a laid back teacher. he is very interested in music and the worksheets seemed pointless in the beginning but you never use them again. just show up and hand in your assignments on time

If you decide to take a music class to fulfill a requirement or for your major surely take it with this professor his class in the beginning is a little confusing but very easy just make sure you hand in all your work and you shouldn't get less than a B regardless of how well it is done

Really easy class. If you like listening to music and just kind of getting a very very brief understanding of world music take this class. This really isn't a serious class and there are no tests, just music journals and a concert report. Can be fun and interesting though.
