Comment:
Dr. McCulloch's Econ 200 class was easy. If you do the homework, read the chapters and go to lecture her class is an easy A. Her exams are reworded homework questions but her quizzes are a little tricky. She is a tough grader but that just means your answers need to be thorough.

She was the hardeset Econ class offered at the 200 level. The curve is built in-class based on 4 quizzes and 1 midterm and 1 final. Useless in office hours. Knows a lot about the subject, but can't clearly convey the material. Gives book examples which are more simplified than her test questions. Switch out!!!

Beware of this class. She is extremely rude, and makes you feel stupid if you have a question. Sometimes I couldn't understand her. Her quizzes and exams are 10X harder than all the other Econ classes.Switch to another class you shouldn't go through h*** for a GEC class. She is one of the worst professors I had at OSU.

Avoid like the plague. Extremely rude and condescending, tests are very difficult. Expects prior knowledge for economics and does not treat like a GEC course.

Try to get a different professor! Her tests are hard and she expects way too much for a GEC class. Her accent makes her hard to understand sometimes and her notes which are only on a chalk board are hard to read. From what I've heard, other professors that teach this class are much better.

DO NOT TAKE HER!!! Professor McCulloch is cold, rude, and expects way too much from a 200 level class. She forbids cell phones so text at your own risk of being kicked out of lecture. The quizzes are only 10 minutes and she will literally rip them from you if you dont hand it in promptly. She is seriously frightening. BEWARE!!!!!

I thought she was absolutly awful. She is very hard to understand, and her lectures do not help at all. She is also very mean when you ask questions. Her tests suck and she is awful at grading and takes off points for the most ridiculous things. My advise is to try to avoid her as a professor!

This class isnt hard if you go to class and pay attention. She assigns hw, or suggested practice problems, that are straight from textbook that is not due. Quizzes are from hw, and exams are from quizzes. Do suggested problems from book and its an easy class...if you can get by the boring lectures.

I took Ms. McCulloch in the 80s. I've since earned an MBA and worked on Wall Street, and I can tell you that you will not find a better prof than her. If you plan to have a professional career, you should not just take a class from her, but pay very close attention to what she teaches you. You will not regret it.

I got a B in the class, but I would still reccomend that you run. She wasn't very helpful when I went to ask her questions and sometimes I couldn't understand what she was trying to say. I went to every class and still had to study. I found the class boring and useless

Not too bad, but the point is: try to sit in the front few rows and pay attention by communicating with her eye to eye; do homework (she will go over the correct answers) and try to attend all the lectures, then even you sucked at all quizs&midterm, you will still get a very decent grade.

Not as bad as some people say. If you're willing to go to class, pay attention, and work hard on the homework (which there's not alot of), you should get an A no problem. The quizzes and tests are straight from the homework, so if there's a homework problem you're not sure of the answer to, just ask her to go over it. Like I said, she's not too bad

Shes ok, the quizzes come straight from the HW, which she goes over in class, know the definitions, and the tests are like the HW, put some effort into it

Somewhat erratic when it comes to grading, her tests can be harder because they aren't multiple choice. Her definitions often don't match what's in the book and must be written word for word on tests and quizzes to get full credit.
