Cheek is the greatest professor in the history of Lee University. He won more faculty awards than anyone else. The saddest point in the contemporary history of Lee University was when he departed. I hold the administration responsible for this great failure.

Dr. Cheek and his wife are joys to be around, but they definitely make you work. His enthusiasm for Political Science made me love the class and even consider taking on a minor in the field, despite the fact that I only earned a B. Jaime M.

I love Dr. Cheek. He was the best prof I had at Lee. He made things very interesting and he really cared whether or not the students were learning. He knows what he is talking about and that makes his classes even better.

Excellent teacher. Loves feedback from students. Somewhat militaristic so he doesn't like misconduct among students or other people such as campus safety. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. This is one class where you do need to read the book for the test...it'll make your life easier.

Great teacher. Class is fair...always study material thoroughly for quizzes and be prepared! Really enjoyed his class- study your notes and you'll get a good grade. NEVER show up for class late- EVER!

This guy is great. Easy-going on grading and work just make sure to show up to class on time. He notices that. The workload is easy and he is fair. Sometimes he loses it so never walk into class & disturb it.
