She should just stick to practicing law. Her method of teaching is exclusively note taking from heavy lectures and exam study guides of roughly 200 items.

Never taking other class with this professor. Even if she is a good lawer she is very rude. Class is very tough, you skip a class you won't pass. Very few notes provided for all chapters. Not recommended!

Linda is very knowledgeable but I don't think she should be teaching. She's not afraid to publicly humiliate you when you ask a question and her midterm covered things that were not introduced until a few weeks after the exam. The homework has nothing to do with her lectures, and she disagrees with the text making it even more difficult to learn

Linda was intimidating at first, but as long as you show up to class and take good detailed notes during her lectures you will be okay. I did do all the Cengage activities including the hypotheticals and the extra credit for those was nice. I didn't use any of the study tool for exams posted on Canvas and just used my notes instead. Good luck!

Linda's great for BLAW, but this class was a train wreck. From her inability to properly post files on Canvas to the constant rescheduling and outright cancellation of plans from the syllabus to the lack of feedback on papers (three months to return our first papers!), this class was stressful in a unique way from any other class I've ever taken.

I really enjoyed this class, but I am not going to lie you need to pay attention to lectures and take good notes. My group got lucky because all of the plans with the architecture school fell through so we weren't graded on much. I will say this. Show up to lecture and you will be golden.

A different Hawaiian shirt for each day of the year - she even wears them under her courtroom attire! Owns and operates an exotic animal sanctuary which is used to better understand some concepts about risk tolerance. Strong exam scores can make up for not doing the case studies. I submitted 1 of 6 C.S.'s and showed up to every class to earn a C+.

Straight forward person, ask her, and you will get honest answers about performance. Little homework, but tests are tough. 50+ multiple choice, read off study guide, understand the terms. Group project at end. Tough grader on assignments and project. Class attendance is worth large part of grade. Curves tests. Apart from tests, not hard to get A.

The class itself is difficult and there is a lot of material to cover, but she tries her best to make lectures interesting by relating to her personal experience. She offers some extra credit here and there. There is a lot of essays but they are short and she really only grades the APA citations. TESTS ARE CURVED HEAVILY. Getting a B is doable

Don't let this class intimidate you. Take notes off of her powerpoints and not her lectures-she goes on tangents. Pay attention to the daily quizzes because those questions appear on the tests. She curves the tests so don't meltdown when you get a 50% on the first one. Don't spend too much time on papers-she only grades your citations!

Unorganized, refuses to use canvas, doesn't grade papers on content; rather grades on citations, tests are ridiculously hard and heavily curved, little rude/ standoffish . That all being said, Linda is an amazing lawyer, really knows her stuff, can be really funny, you will learn if you can stay organized. Don't miss class or you'll be lost.

Her tests are difficult. She assigns too may papers. She brags way too much about her life and barely writes down any of her lecture points.

My experience was honestly pretty bad. She really doesn't engage you and likes to talk about herself a lot.. For this class being a business core she really doesn't treat it as such and often is very rude when asked questions or trying to see your progress within her class. Please try to be more organized if you are reading this.

Hands down worst professor I have had in college. Luckily the curve is big enough on the exams that you will most likely do well in the class, but if you genuinely want to learn something, I do not recommend taking her. She will assign papers without a rubric but grades on very specific details. Exams do not come from resources she provides.

Does not use canvas which makes it difficult to know where you stand. The tests make up majority of your grade. Lectures are difficult to keep up with as they seem unorganized. Just my experience. I dropped and took the other option which I am not regretting.

Tough to rate. Linda is an incredible lawyer, but not the best teacher. Tests are application-based and lectures are definition-based with 0 overlap. Grades papers based off APA format instead of content. Curves her class because the tests are way too hard. If you have test anxiety and want updates on your grade, DO NOT TAKE FRIED!!

She is very unorganized, and she doesn't have structure to her course material. It is also very hard to see what you have in the course as her keeps an excel file rather than using Canvas. AVOID HER.

Skip and you won't pass- attendance is required. it's the only way you will show up.. Lecture heavy- reads stolen PowerPoints word for word. Any class you will be read business law materials & told how successful she is. youll fail every test but be curved to an A or B. You WILL NOT learn anything... Please I beg you don't waste your time and $!!

Linda was an amazing professor! She makes you work for your grade but you learn so much throughout the class. She gives you all you need to pass her tests. Take advantage of her study guides and you will be fine. I don't think she really reads the papers but she will dock you points if your citations are incorrect. Am taking her again for MGMT4900
