Comment:

Best professor I've ever had. Though she has said she's a tough grader, she is always fair. I have taken five courses with Linda and I've never been disappointed. She's very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what she teaches. I've learned so much from her, and have even found a passion for Sociology because of her.

My favotrite teacher hands down. I took intro to sociology with her and i loved it. She does assign alot of papers and every two grammar mistakes ends up in a letter grade deduction but that helped me become a better writer. When i started the class i got low Bs and Cs on my papers, towards the end I got As! She is also extremely helpful and caring

For a teacher that is all about equal and fair treatment of people she is very biased against men....was also very against military members, could not even voice your opinion due to it being instantly pushed down

Olson is very knowledgeable. Maybe she shouldn't put so much stress on grammar errors in papers (this isn't English class!!!!!)but at least she doesn't give tests. Just go to class and take notes. She writes on the board everything you need to pass her class. She likes to laugh and obviously enjoys teaching and she is good at it.

Very upbeat and informative, but be warned that she has high expectations for grammar and other errors in papers. Midterm and finals not too hard. She doesn't expect you to memorize things as much as she wants you to show you are learning and understanding the material.
