I don't know the specific PLS class i had with him. He is HORRIBLE!!! I had to have heart surgery on the day of our final exam. I brought him medical documentation saying that I was going to be out. He said, "I am a doctrate of Political Science. Not of Medicine. This means nothing to me. You don't show up, You will Fail" F* you dude! HATE HIM!!!!

Very tough prof. He often uses VERY long, drawn out analogies to explain his point... easy to get lost if you don't pay attention. However, he's extremely helpful if you talk to him. He sometimes comes up with a stroke of genius, unforunately most students get bored and quit listening beforehand. He's a very BRIGHT guy, but VERY tough.

Professor Jones was the worst professor I had! I didn't learn a single from him. The first test almost everyone failed. And I thought for sure I failed the exam. We're pretty sure he got tired of greating the test cause lots of people ended up passing even though they failed the first two tests. If you can avoid taking this class do.

Probably the worst class I have ever taken, not so much the class but damn...he was the worst professor I have ever seen. I took PLS 202 with him last semester and it wasnt so bad but NEVER TAKE PLS 201 WITH THIS MAN...HE IS GOT AWEFULL!!!!!

Had several classes and he was my advisor. Way too tough for no reason. Ideas are too rigid and he was too liberal but if you got on his good side, he was very friendly. Never go to this guy with an excuse or asking for any grade help, no chance. Had some odd relationships with a students, seemed to favor certain students. No one uses SPSS tho.

I didn't really believe what everyone said about him until I took the class for myself...now I LOATHE going to it. All he does is ramble on about pointless things and how he's right...he asks you a question and then spends forever saying why his opinion is right and your's is wrong. I've taken classes at 3 different colleges and this was my least favorite professor. I really don't think he cares about helping students learn--he's there to ramble about whatever he wants and get paid for it. Dropped the class because it felt like torture. If you can, take the summer class with Meinhold, who's great and actually teaches!

Overall a very nice guy, however he really doesnt know how to convey what you suppose to know for the class. Makes no attempt to tell you what to study for test. One of those teachers who doesnt care about grades, which is great if he gave all A and B's but that is simply not the case. GPA Killer.
