Professor Sanchez really cares about her students and is always available to talk to and seek help/guidance on papers and such. She's a fair and understanding person. Her lectures are interesting and also incorporates student discussion. Does get mad if people don't do the readings and you need to be specific on quizzes. Great professor though.

Professor Sanchez is probably the best professor I've had at the college. She is very nice and helpful. Her class is not easy though. She expects students to do the reading and gives pop quizzes. She is a tough but fair grader. The class is discussion based and gets mad when people aren't participating or students aren't answering what she wants.

Great professor. A LOT of reading, but if you do it, the class won't be too difficult. Likes very detailed answers on quizzes, and a lot of analysis on papers. Discussion based class. She will never call any student out, but she notices when you don't participate.

READ EVERYTHING! Sanchez's entire course is based around the texts she assigns. She will call out those who do not participate in class and doesn't give an easy A. Much of your grade comes from reading quizzes, which are nearly impossible to get a perfect on. No matter how carefully I read,I always ended up with a 19.5/20.

Between sanchez and bowman I took 10 history classes and loved every single one. Had sanchez for senior seminar and never worked so hard in my life for a B but learned a lot and it has served me well in medschool. Who woulda thunk that!

One of the worst profs I've ever had. Lacked basic knowledge of the subject and showed strong biases in class. Gives little if any useful feedback on papers and exams and then when asked still doesn't have any feedback. You'd be better off shooting yourself in the foot then taking her class.
