its a boring class no matter who teaches it, but its required for busn majors and minors so deal with it. He's super understanding for turning stuff in late, real laid back, humor is awkward yet funny and he's dorky in cute funny way.

This class is a COMPLETE waste of anyone's time. You learn absolutely nothing in his class and I do even know how he can be teaching, especially at a college level. I'm glad this class is not in my major and feel sorry for anyone who wants to learn in this subject. You never do anything thing in class and has been a 3 credit study hall for me.

He is horrible. He talks about nothing and then gives us a test and expects us to know what we are doing. This class could have been better and it would have been nice to actually learn quickbooks, except for the 5 minutes he shows the last day of class. Its time for him to retire...

This is the most useful class I have had the opportunity to take. Thank you Professor Dishaw for relating computer networks to sausage pizza. I understand everything now. Linux makes perfect sense after watching you struggle with it for a week. I can crimp an RJ-45 after watching those random Youtube videos. Couldn't have done that from home, huh??

Today we spent an entire class (trying to)setting up a webserver. To a student who has no idea what that is, you wouldn't have learned, since he does stuff without explaining why. It really helps to have a technical background coming into the class, because he doesn't teach you anything. Waste of 42 class hours and 700 dollars.

The textbook and slides are over 5 years old! He is talking about wireless g and the creation of bluetooth when we should be talking about NEW technology. He only uses the slides because he wrote them. Every class is a complete waste: YouTube, Best Buy's site, watching him waste an hour trying to get Linux to work, hour trying to wire one cable.

I cannot rate anything in the Easiness category since I have just only got my first grade and it's a week past midterms. Every class is a complete waste of time, and I can honestly say that this professor does not have a clue. I find myself browsing the web/working on other classes during the entire class.

As of right now he is 10 minutes late, which is right around average. He's a 'low-talker', if you're familiar with that Seinfeld reference. I'm pretty sure he just doesn't care anymore. One time this semester, he spent an entire class mumbling to himself while trying to terminate an RJ 45, and another whole week trying to figure out linux.

UPDATE: Late Everyday. Where else can you be 10 mins late everyday and still keep your job? Anyone? Will spend a whole day trying to get something to work when it doesn't help at all. I am not sure how this man got a doctorate in anything, and I applaud the COB for tenuring this man(that is the only way I can explain why he is still there) SHEESH!

This teacher is a joke, not only is he half a century old, but every student is his class knows more that him. There is no point to going to class because he is always late and never prepared, plus he gives no added knowledge to the 5 year old text book that is used. Implementation of this course as part of accounting curriculum has been a complete failure. Most of the credit for this goes to Dishaw. MIS guy shouldn't be teaching. Lectures are worthless, assignments are unclear, and he didn't explain quickbooks, which is used on the project.
