Completely unorganized. We had a new syllabus every week. Schoolwork wasn't too hard but she was a tough grader, especially for someone who was as unorganized as she was. We had to do volunteer work and half the time the bus didn't show up or came really late but that might be because it was the first year working with a new school for volunteering

Prof Henry knows what shes teaching and talking about ( well aware)! Take her and you wont regret it! easy A just participate and by the way she very understanding just dont take advantage of her!

She is a sweet woman, the actual service learning, the tutoring part of the class is great, but the class itself is boring. You don't learn much, there's a bunch of homework's on stuff that we don't cover in class. There is also a group presentation that is pointless. Not recommended!

marybeth henry is by far one of the greatest professors at MSU. sure she's a little disorganized but shes always fair in the end. take her if you can, theres no lengths she wont go to to help out a student in need.

Great professor! Used powerpoint for the lecture, but does not post them on blackboard. Reasonable with tests and work, and is flexable with handing in work and also giving extra points on tests. We did an article summary and had to present it, also had 4 tests no midterm or final!

She's easy-going, gives easy homework: article readings, reflections. However, she's a tough grader. Overall easy class, but you're required to tutor once a week for 3 hours at a public elementary school, which can be a bit annoying.

OMG! How this woman has a doctorate is beyond me. Don't take this class if you would like to challenge your intelligence. She conducts this class like it's a joke, and then when she grades the assignments, she grades tougher than any professor I've had. Every comment on each paper starts out the same, "You had good points but..." DON'T TAKE HER!!!!

Dr. Henry is a great teacher. I had her for Midlife Elective. She is so sweet and flexible, gives almost no homework and no tests. She truly cares about the success of her students and tries everything to get them interested even though this class was boring. Take her she's great.

A very nice woman but painfully detailed over things that simply DO NOT MATTER!Can seem condescending at times.I am not someone who minds disorganization, but it got to the point where it was distracting.But no textbook, always a plus.I got an A in her class, but she caused a ton of unnecessary stress.It was the class more than it was her though.

Such a sweet woman! She is not organized at all. In our class she had no control in the room, nobody barely paid attention to her??? U feel bad but she enables the class to do it, and she is quite boring but you need to take the 315 class so? She is sweet though and understanding!!!

Overall this class was ok, but the grading system made absolutely no sense. On a positive note, she is a very nice lady and seems to care about her students and the deparment.
