He's a nice guys but he's not really clear about his when it comes to the presentations; its hard to stay focus. Tough grader when it comes to doing homework. Test consist of about 6 or 8 questions and they weigh a lot. Assigns homework, yet does not go over them to clarify what you did wrong or ask if you understand the material.

Griffiths is a great guy and a fun lab professor but his grading is very tough. He is one of those professors that give you a C on a lab report you worked so hard on and thought you would ace.

Extremely interesting man. Amazing professor. By nature, physics isn't an easy subject to learn, but Dr. Griffiths took every measure to help us understand. I really felt like he went far beyond what any teacher has gone to explain the material. He is, however, one of the toughest graders I've ever experienced in my life.

This is the hardest class I have taken in my life. His explanations of things in lectures are just shy of impossible to follow. The textbook is written in Word and while it's nice to not buy a book, each chapter takes a minimum of an hour to read and understand. He never justifies his grading either. Do anything you can to not take his classes.

He is a horrible professor. He takes an additional 45 minutes just to explain the concept of the lab even though we learn the concept in class. he wont let you leave until every calculation and graph is completed even though its for the report. His grading is complete bull. His reasoning for his grading is the worst that I have ever seen.

First of all, he's a very interesting guy, with all his Britishisms. The class is difficult, but it's Physics, it's not going to be easy. That being said, his enthusiasm and helpfulness make it easy to pass. Definitely come to class before exams though, because he gives helpful reviews. Overall a great guy.

I never a Get A chance to learn from him; But as i worked as a T.A. in Phy. I always saw him delivering the Best of Physics. His way of teaching makes folks interested abt the Subject. Hez so interactive with students; makes Communication Channel very well. Also his Voice- personality and Englishism makes people Curious.So guys Dr. Griffith= =PHY

Hot guy for sure, HORRID teacher. Avoid him at all costs. He gives HUGE amounts of homework (10 little questions that take 6 hours to do), and then only grades two questions. His tests are HARD. Worst of all, he teaches physics, a HEAVILY math related course, with POWERPOINT. He's a great guy, but this class is a joke.

Extremely nice and extremely helpful. Test are difficult. ATTEND CLASS THE DAY BEFORE THE TEST. He will give practice problems orally, write them down and solve them before the test. They are pretty much the test questions, so if you understand them you are set. Do the homework in groups..its an easy grade. Nice guy, just wants to help you.

Griffiths is an extremely hard teacher because he clearly doesn't know how to teach. His tests are unbelievably hard. He gives monstrous curves on them about 20-30 points each. His homework is ridiculous as well about 15 questions a week, which takes the average person 45 min per question and he only grades 2 of them! GOOD LUCK!
