Comment:

For someone who teaches communications, he sure does have tendencies to interrupt, talk over and belittle students. He makes students participate in class, yet interrupts and hurries them while they're sharing answers or opinions. He has tendencies to publicly humiliate students and expects way too much of them. Seems like he doesn't us to succeed

Passionate and caring. But he tends to be too overbearing on students. He frequently keeps students in class up to 20 minutes after it's ended. It's extremely annoying and inconvenient. Tests are unnecessarily difficult.

Dr. Balmert is very passionate about his field of study. He gives great feedback and truly cares about his students' progress. However, he fails to engage his student and frequently keeps them in class long after the session has ended.

Michael is amazing, one of the best! He talks a lot, but that's okay with him cause everything he says has such a wisdom behind it like Mufasa from the Lion King. He's pretty great, but don't ever skip class unless you're actually sick, participation is everything!

This class was very difficult and annoying considering it was a CC class. Don't expect to get an A unless you memorize the textbook because his tests are ridiculous. The way he grades is stupid and he expects absolute perfection in every speech you give. At some times I felt like he wanted his students to struggle and not do well.

He is a terrible professor. He even made a comment to me asking if i "even succeeded in high school" because my speech was short. He expects absolute perfection from students who have never had a public speaking course before. He is very judgemental and i highly disliked him. If you have him I feel bad for you.
