Took Western Literature as requirement. Mrs. Bass is so sweet & wants her students to succeed. I am not a big english/literature person, so the material was not something I looked forward to. But if you read some & write down everything she says in class on her handouts, the tests will not be hard! Will help if you need it. VERY understanding!!

Mrs. Bass is so sweet! I didn't do so well with English in High School, but Mrs. Bass understood and helped me in so many ways. In her Eng A & B classes, she has you compile a list of mistakes in essays, her goal is to correct 3 mistakes from each students. This semester she helped me correct 7 of my 9 mistakes throughout the semester! A BLESSING!

She loves literature, and knows her stuff! Tests were average and she had a fair number of daily grades and quizzes for grade help, if you read. ALWAYS READ. The syllabus will be your best friend. I had her my freshman year and she helped me with everything, not just her class. Her office was always open. amazing teacher!

She is a very sweet lady and really seems to care about her students. Her tests aren't too hard, as long as you actually do some of the reading, and she tells you some questions that will be on there. Not too many essays and doesn't grade those very hard. You have to read about 20 pages for each class session.
