If you can't take a little teasing, he's not your type. He will seem hard on you in class, but it is simply his method. He helps you think through the "why" of the material while he lectures. Participate! The man wants you to succeed, let him help you. A bit of effort and the class can be passed with ease. HE APPRECIATES EFFORT so give some.

Difficult to follow at points, but the textbook aids and he wants the best for you. Though his quizzes can be complex at points he does offer you a chance to fix your answers. WARNING: He will likely yell at you but expect it and understand that it is his method and you will be fine. A funny guy when you learn his sense of humor.

Fr. Shen is the man. He makes class really fun. If you can't take a ridiculous and sarcastic joke once in a while, then don't take this class. I loved his sense of humor, and his old school approach to teaching econ.

I'm an A student who had to fight to get a B in the class. He is not clear in his teaching, opting to just scribble the same graph over and over, hoping it will sink in. He will not admit fault in grading...so don't even waste your breath. Do not buy the new edition of the text...he just uses the old one. Politically incorrect sense of humor...

Great teacher, first impression hes a jerk, but you soon find out hes all about having fun, but he has a semi-dry sense of humor. His class is pretty easy, if you listen, and take good notes. You dont really need the text book at all, but memorize his notes and youll ace all the tests

Father Shen is very nice. He encourages everyone to read and understand the material. During the tests, he walks around and marks your answers if they are wrong so that you have a second chance to get them right. You will probably be doing better in his class than you think you are because he curves and boosts your grade if you participate and try.
