Mr. Mols Chem 120 class focuses a lot on your ability to read and comprehend the material in the textbook and in lectures. Good notetaking/ willingness to read chapters before class is a must. He speaks with an accent but is understandable during lectures. Lab reports require accurate results and good writeups for full score. Use his office hours.

Excellent professor! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject. Enjoys helping students and gives clear explanations. Exams are reasonable as long as you do the homework and regularly attend class. Labs are also not too hard. Overall doable workload with a great professor. You'll learn a lot and get the grade you deserve! :)

One the best professors I had met at dvc. Helpful and responsible. Exams might be a little hard but it's alright as long as you pay effort on the homeworks.

i really liked dr Mols and his class, always very professional and helpfull. it is impossible to figure out his grading style and sometimes it seems that he is trying to give you a lower grade than you deserve. he does give great lectures though, so you'll learn a lot for sure. but good luck with the grade...

His accent is crazy but he writes everything fairly neatle on the bored. He is a bit of a jerk when it comes to grading and he always gives pop quizzes on the worst days. Also his tests/quizes are ridiculously hard and usually come straight from the most obscure material that was never covered in class.

Very nice guy. Very funny if you catch on to his sense of humor-he likes cocktails. If you ask him for help he really does give you assistance, especially in lab. Lectures are boring, homework is due at the beginning of every class, attendance is mandatory. Tests are hard, but at the every end of the class he curves all the grades. I thought I go

This class is SUPER HARD. Talk to teachers and find out wut is req'd of QUAL before hand (its hard as heck)! And tests are somewhat easy but really time constrained. Study hard and KEEP UP with the homework and pace of the class. DO NOT SLACK. I thought i had a C the entire time and I ended up with a B (he curves at the end)!

He is really not THAT bad. it is a fun class if you are into cruel dry humor. I personally think he is one of the better chem 120 teachers. pretty strict on homework but easy on labs, test are really not THAT bad, just make sure to take good notes in class. Dont get your hopes up of getting an A in there, you have a 1 out of 30 chance, easy B thoug

Since I took his class during the summer, lectures were an adventure b/c we had to think twice about what he said. also his writing will take some time to get used to, but overall, he's a really cool teacher, though sometimes he doesn't seem to care much.
