Worst lecturer EVER. Confusing , dry and will not give access to her PowerPoints. Is often confused and edits powerpoints in lecture. Testing... you had better read the directions and cross your t's and dot your i's perfectly.. or you will lose points. If not for a great textbook, I would have failed this class, and I am a 3.88 GPA student.

She makes the hole class more difficult than it has to be. She creates so many unnecessary obstacles in assignments, test format, pre-labs, etc. She is passionate about her knowledge, but too passionate from a students perspective. If you can take another professor, do so!

Peg is extremely unorganized. She flies extremely fast through lectures and forgets that her students are not biology experts. She is a very nice woman to talk to but extremely tough grader and cannot spell but will take points off for spelling. Be ready to teach yourself! I got an A+ in the class but had to work for it, use the learning objectives

Peg is always respectful of her students, at least from what I have seen. I had her for lecture and it was sometimes hard to keep up but she always had the lectures posted within 24 hours so that we could catch whatever we missed. she is very fair on grading more so than most. 1 test redo and regrade requests allowed. Does a lot for her students.

Good professor but difficult. Her lectures do not necessarily cover what is on the exams. The learning objectives she posts are more what to expect on the exams so make sure you study those and read the chapters.

I think she was an excellent teacher. I had her for both lecture and lab and I thought she was really good for both of them. Every class for lecture there is a lecture. She sometimes goes a little bit to fast, but that's usually at the end of class. She posts the lectures with 48 hrs of the last lecture though so you can finish your notes.

She isn't the best lecturer. She does not upload material before class in order to make notes on things she mentions that could be fair game for an exam. Her teaching method isn't too clear and is sorta scattered. Many students tend to not come to class after about the first exam and only show on exam days. Lecture also doesn't match up with lab.

Peg is very unorganized. Her learning objectives help with the exams if completed fulling but they are all over they place, difficult to decipher and barely covered in class. Her lectures are all over the place and not helpful to completing the learning objectives. She does answer the discussion board questions on BB though. Use that for sure!

Peggy is very disorganized and makes you feel stupid for asking for clarification on things she says. She cannot spell very well but marks you wrong on tests if you spell things wrong. Her power points are very hard to understand. She lectures on things you dont even need to know. HINT:LEARNING OBJECTIVES

She is very very boring to listen to. She also is extremely unorganized and her notes are all over the place jumping from chapter back to a previous chapter forward to another. It is very incoherent. However, if you do the work, study all her power point slides and answer her study guide questions FULLY. You will do fine.

Comment:

Very disorganized lectures, resulting in confusing jumbled study guides and assignments. Very hard to talk too, always snaps and talks down to you for asking a question. Makes many mistakes in lecture and in lab, and takes random points away depending on how she's feeling. I would advise seeking another professor to avoid these frustrations.

Very unorganized. Lecture notes have nothing to do with the objectives she wants us to know for the test. When asking questions on blackboard she says to refer to the notes and says we should already know this. Very rude in her responses.

Peggy teaches the micro lab section, and she is fine at it. She's very nice, only caveat is at the beginning of class she talks in prolonged detail about the days lab procedure. The lab is very easy, and so are the practicals *as long as you take the assignments seriously*. She requires little of us, so put in a little effort and you'll be fine.

People who complain about Peg don't apply themselves. She sets you up for success with her practice quizzes and homework. Things may be a bit unorganized at times but that does not effect your grade. It's an easy class if you study

So unorganized and rude at times. She made so many mistakes in both lecture and lab and graded everything very hard. I felt like she really didn't know how to teach at times. She could be nice and helpful but it was rare.

Very unorganized, to the point of changing answers on exams after she already changed them previously. A lot of work, homework for lectures and lab. She runs a very busy disorganized class. Makes a lot of mistakes during lectures too. Really nice though and you can tell she loves microbiology.

I loved have her as my teacher for Micro and A&P. If you ask her a question she will gladly answer it. She is a great teacher because she loves what she does! Her classes are challenging and you will only get what you are willing to put into it!
