Comment:

Took her for the Gatways to Engineering Program and she made us put in hella work. I retained a lot of information and she was super helpful. She really wants you to pass but you have to put in the work. Office hours are a must.

Weekly quizzes and gives practice exams. You'll do LESS homework if you buy the book. Still, that's hundreds of problems PER chapter and lecture notes! She cares to help so go to her office hours. 90% of class time consists of group work so do the homework in case you're paired with lazy students, but unfortunately, you'll be forced to help them.

Where can I start... I failed my first two exams and she told me I still had an opportunity to pass the class. Honestly I was not putting much effort in the class but she gave me hope and I passed. She is always in her Office hours and she never makes you feel dumb unlike other professors. She even gives hints when you cant solve a problem..

She is one of the nicest professors you'll ever have. Very helpful during office hours. The class itself is okay. Feels a little all over the place at times. Lectures are decent. Test are very easy if you study. Take home parts are a lot of work but she will always help you.

Comment:

Gives context to math, which makes you see things differently. The problem, the class is too short and it moves on quick to the next chapter, feels like the teacher don't have enough time to expand, but that's the division's fault. To pass, do your part, stop the teacher to ask questions and in the gateways program you get a coach, use him!

Great teacher. Everybody needs to do their work or else she'll start having due dates for homework. She has gateways quizzes that are pass or fail that is meant to test your foundations. She does go through material quite quickly for 180 but you're expected to be doing homework for the section before the class.

Professor Taylor's lectures rely more heavily on note packets and example problems rather than her teaching. Lots of extra credit was given for the class, and the grade relied heavily on quizzes and exams. However, the due dates for homework were not made clear at all. Overall great professor.

Professor Taylor is very approachable and helpful. She gives you a packet and tell you to work in your group and struggle with it until she explains it to the class. She gives a lot of homework but it does prepare you for the exams. Practice tests are given and the tests mirror the practice exams as far as which problems you'll be tested on.

She is super nice and cares for the success of her students. She only gives you the concepts and you are going to have to work on groups. 3 exams, quizzes every week (partner quizzes), and the final.

Math 191 with Taylor was an easy course. As opposed to tons of problems for homework, she only cares if you did 2-5 problems and truly understand the material. Quizzes were weekly and she clearly shows you what she grades for on it along with the 3 exams and Final. Outside of class, she honestly cares for all her students and does her best to help

She offers chances to make up points missed on the test through extra work if the class doesn't do well on a test. Pretty lax with turning in work on time, as long as it's done. Some quizzes and parts of exams are take home. Overall a very fair class. You definitely earn the grade you get.

This professor is nice but her teaching style doesn't really work for students that really need help with the subject. She has assigned seats and tons of busy group work. There are part in class and take home exams but the take home feels more time consuming than it is helping you because the in class is weighted more. Never again.

Professor Taylor was probably one of the chillest and coolest profs I've ever had. She definitely teaches enough in class and is always open to helping you. Do the homework and pay attention in class and it should be an easy A.

Professor Taylor is AMAZING. She genuinely cares about each and every students' success. You can do homework online or in the book. If you do all the homework you will pass. She is always available during office hours and can be reached via email any time. There is no reason you should not pass her class.

Tough grader-It is a math class, she has attention to detailthanks. skip class-if you are not present for the material, you will be lost. lots of homework-if you don't do it, you won't retain it.

She is very nice and cares about her students. You are not required to do all of your homework but enough to understand what's going on. She gives out study guides for her test which are amazing since the exam is very similar. I would definitely take her course again if I could.

expect to do a lot of homework. Both online and in the book. She does binder checks every week. And she doesn't tell you when there is an online quiz so always check. She has group projects.
