Solid professor, but not outstanding. Does a pretty good job of explaining concepts, but as the semester went on I started to run into more and more homework problems where I had no clue what to do. Gives weekly quizzes that are identical to one of the homework problems, just with numbers changed. One group project that's fairly challenging.

Dr. Zhou is a very kind and hard working professor. He is very interested in class participation and he rewards such efforts. While the course was tricky at times he was always available for clarification and he assigned some very interesting homework projects! The class won't be a walk in the park but you will gain some useful tools.

Lecture was a complete waste of time. He'd spend entire class periods on a single problem,consistently make mistakes, and avoid going over difficult concepts that he couldn't explain. Be prepared to teach yourself most of the material.

Herb is smart, but understanding him through the chinese accent can be tough at times. Lots of pointless homework. Study for exams and you should do fine. He loves getting questions.

Herb is a good teacher, he cares about how the students do in class and is always available for office hours. The language barrier is there, but he is very knowledgable about electrial engineering. On the whole a good teacher.
