Comment:

If you take this professor, I recommend you sit in the front because he does talk fairly quietly at times and he has relatively small handwriting. Overall I think he's a very solid choice. His lectures are straight from the textbook, and the tests are very doable as long as you study. He isn't the best professor at UCF but certainly not the worst.

Comment:

This professor has a very heavy accent but he is actually very caring. I had a scheduling conflict with a test. He was very understanding and helped me rearrange the testing time. His Mathematics with Calculus class is online and combines curriculum from College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus.

The online Mathematics with Calculus class comprises of topics for College Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. There are 14 total objectives, 4 exams, 4 exam reviews, and discussions. First test is very easy because it consists of College Algebra topics. He drops 1 quiz, 1 objective, and your lowest test grade (for the first 3 tests).

Comment:

He teaches College Algebra, and Mathematics with Calculus. He was very resourceful when I had trouble scheduling an exam for Mathematics with Calculus. The class is taken online and comprises of objectives, exams, exam reviews, and discussions. If you take the online class, the material is self taught. I got an A after the Spring 2019 Semester.

Completed through ALEKS. Not the professor's fault, but the software makes you do 380+ topics in one semester. Lots of work but if you go to the Math Lab and meet with tutors, they'll assist you in every topic. Exams are around 15-20 questions, final is cumulative and about 30 questions. Test reviews say which questions to expect for each exam.

This course was done through ALEKS, I feel like the most difficult part about this course was probably the Trig section because there are so many trig identities and theorems associated with it. Requires a lot of effort to get an A.

This class is done through ALEKS. Objectives can be done at home. 14 obj. (lessons), 19 cls. clcks (mini-quizzes), 3 tests, & 1 final. He drops 2 lowest obj., 4 lowest cls. clcks, & lowest test. I didn't interact with him or the TA's much, but they're always offering help. There's also a chance to finish the class early which is in the syllabus.

This is basically an online class, however he likes to help students. He encourages students to study and apply what they learn. Yet the class is not a lecture at most it is a 5 minute talk on how to do one problem and you basically teach yourself.

He prevented me from graduating on time in graduate school! I need a C-, not a C. asked for him for extra credit work so I could bring my grade up from a D to a C- to graduate on time and he wouldn't budge. That should tell you what kind of man he is.

Teaches a difficult subject well. Lectures were available online also, so attendance is not mandatory. Some tests are take-home, and can be very difficult and intensive, but he is a reasonable grader. Two projects (research papers). Assigns hw from book. Available during office hours and good at answering questions about class.

He was very friendly and cared about his students, but he was very unorganized. One time he even forgot we were supposed to have a test. You can tell he really knows what he's teaching and is a very smart guy, but I had trouble understanding the material from his lectures and ended up just teaching myself from the textbook.

The best thing I can say about the professor is that he's ok... Not the most amazing professor I've had, but not the worst. He's clearly passionate about math and really wants everyone to pass, but is not the best at explanations.

I never attended his lectures because I didn't like the way he taught algebra (I degraded from Calc.) However, he uses iClicker points, and gives homework and a quiz weekly. The homework is typically very tedious and 80+ questions. You are also required 3 hours in the MALL, which was inconvenient for me. All and all the class was alright.

Literally who? the professor. Felt like taking an online class, everything is self taught by taking the online quizzes and tests. Only has an hour of actual class and that just isn't enough time to thoroughly go over all the material that we will be tested on.
