I personally love him as a professor. His class seemed to be really easy. He gives you a study guide for every test... the tests are the study guides. Doing the study guides also gives you bonus points on the test. The class is just a lot of busy work (it's homework). I easily got an A in the class.

I hated every thing about his class. Way too much busy work and presentations. He doesn't grade assignments fairly or accurately according to syllabus. He is rude, ruthless, and extremely irritating. I didn't learn anything of significance or beneficial towards my education or future. He wasted my time and money. He sucks!

I am taking him for Bus/Prof communication. His class isn't too bad if you are prepared to do a lot of busy work and presentations. If I would've known before hand that he was going to assign a bunch of assignments/presentations I would've taken Miller. He also grades assignments and presentations very strictly.

Dr. Duncan is an overall good professor. He doesn't necessarily teach you how to write a speech, but he teaches you how to deliver the speech better next time. Tests come straight from the study guides. Only two big speeches to do during the semester and two smaller speeches called info breaks after the tests. Take his class if you get the chance.

he is aweful, i had him for oral comm. and the class was bogus. He bases most of your grade on the tests which are about 10 pages long and 90% short answer, and the speeches dont count as much. we learned more about psychology than speeches... he sucks!! if ur taking oral comm take bass, dont take him unless u feel like studying for 5 hrs per tes

He was a wonderful teacher! I was really nervous about giving speeches...but he made us feel comfortable. His study guides are the test. VERY EASY TESTS (if you do the study guide)

It's an odd class. He is a good teacher, but a lot is required of the student. Papers are a definite expectation in his classes. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE IN HIS CLASSES! I am such the procrastinator and for this have suffered by having to be consistent. A good teacher overall though. Gigantic heart, much love for his students.

First year having this class. He is big into movies, as was everyone in the class. he picked all old movies from back in the day. and only one or two from recent years. His tests were like he does his rhetorical theory class....which is kind of a waste of

He knows what he's talking about. he might not tell you how to write a speech or present it....but he will tell you what you did wrong so you can correct it. a good bit of busy work. but nothing you cant do within 2 hrs at the end of the semester.
