Had no idea what was going on. All assignments were given within 2 minutes at the end of class and were clearly thought of on the spot. Does he even read your papers? No. dont bother getting the textbook because you never use it. It was honestly a ridiculous class and a waste of credits, but if you like it easy then go for it.

Professor Linne is great. He gives you information that you will actually use in the classroom. Makes students feel comfortable in his class.

This is a professor that you expect to be the absolute worst and by the end of the semester you learned more about teaching in his class than you will anywhere else. He is not the most personable teacher inside of class but he teaches you to think for yourself which, for a teacher, is the most important thing for us to learn. In the end...top notch

Guides discussions well. Now that he's in administration he seems miserable.

Never really taught, he just led the conversation and let the class do all the talking. His assignments were very interesting and his ideas were great. He never put any student on the spot and he was very understanding. I would definitely recommend him!

Very understanding professor, adapts to students' needs. Class is very hands-on, and therefore very interesting. I didn't think this class would be very useful, and it ended up being one of my most useful ed classes.

Professor made no contribution to the class and did not know the students by the end of the semester. He seemed very intimdated by the group. He also gave no grades throughout the semester until you got your final grade. Also he did not follow his rubric for grading.

Nice enough guy. Gave no grades the entire semester so you had no idea where you stood until he gave out final grade. Class was relaxing, and students got to know each other by working on a group project & by doing small group discussions. Nice guy. Not that organized, but means well.

He's hard because you don't know what's going on or what's expected. The class is a mess--he's either lazy or can't figure out how to tell us what we need to know to go into the classroom.

I disagree with the last comment. I think Linne is a smart teacher who is NOT afraid teach and bring to light issues happening in society today. This is college, not grade school, so you should learn not to be spoon fed your education. Great teacher!

He's a good teacher, who's great to talk to outside of the classroom. Inside the classroom though, he's often laid back and doesn't really contribute much to class conversations. He tends to take sit back and listen rather than teach directly.
