Consistently late to class, and struggles to stay on topic. He's an easy professor, but you won't learn much because he doesn't teach much. HW had nothing to do with what was covered in class. He doesn't update his handouts or slides; the study guide he gave us for the final was from 2013. He teaches most CS courses here, so good luck.

A terrible teacher. This class is vital to what most CS majors will do after they graduate and get a job, but he doesn't teach anything. I learned nothing that I hadn't already learned in CSC 172. All he does is read off of his PPT slides in class, and half the time the information is irrelevant or outdated. His HW and TBook aren't helpful either.

Constantly late to class, reads off his powerpoint slides, and then spends the rest of class off-topic. Avoid if possible.

This guy is honestly one of the funniest professors I've had in college. I've had him for multiple classes in this school and i have to say he loves teaching but often goes off on a tangent when he tries to explain something. He's got a story for LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Understands student so often pushes homework due dates. Will be taking him again.

If you want a Jewish history class or useless random knowledg take a class with this guy. His teaching style is death by power point. Some power points are legit and very well put totogether. The probblem is he gets side tracked way to easy. He also spreads his time to thin by teaching too many classes. Hardly ever grades and return assaignments.

If you are a coumputer science student who would like to learn about Judaism, or if you are majoring in Judaism anti every other religion. Then his classes are for you. The power points he teaches from are ouareted and mediocre at best. If you want a solid understanding and applicable skills in any of the topics then self teach yourself.

His teaching is copying his erroneous slides onto the board and insufficiently answering students questions. He says himself that he doesn't know the material and that maybe we should ask his esteemed colleague. Assuming you want to learn, avoid this professor at all costs, but good luck because he teaches most of the courses at this university.

The class is just power point slides, lecture is listening to him read them out loud, getting help is going through the slides, and the homework is copying and pasting the slides. Could've saved money and just bought the book for the course and learned more...

I can already tell this semester is going to be bad. First day of class he came in to tell us about a review saying he should retire. Well it has been 4 classes so far and he really should. The assignments have nothing to do with what he teaches because he does not understand what he teaches himself.

If you can, stick with bloch. At least you learn because he knows how to teach. With siegfried you're better off just buying a textbook and teaching yourself since he basically just spends class time reading directly off powerpoints with notes directly from the book or is wasting time talking about brooklyn.

Worst experience ever. He embarrassed a student in front of the whole class to tell her she was too slow and the others in the class are faster and smarter. Terrible excuse for a teacher. No respectable teacher would do something like that. If you cross his path the best advice is JUST DON'T!

When you look at what other Professors go over for this course you get a good understanding on just how much you missed out on because of how often he gets off topic talking about unrelated topics.

This class was so easy, I only stayed at the school one semester once I found out it was a haven for nassau counties high school students who failed out freshmen year, the papers were graded so easy, the presentations we had to give were completely unprofessional. Everyone complained about the 10 or 20 page paper (cant remember) which was so easy

his jokes are really corny. youll be laughing at him rather than with him. there is no work in this class besides like 4 papers total of 2 pages each. really easy. class gets kind of boring, he talks from the start of class to the last minute.
