Absolutely brilliant!!!Prof Urgo made me fall in love with Italian. She knows her material very well and makes u love it. She knows everything about Italian and a zillion other languages.I wish I could major in Italian. Thats how much she inspired me. I wish Adelphi offered a major in ITA. Def take Urgo!

This teacher walked in late most of the time or was absent. Work and labs were still expected in though. Lots of HW so if you can stay on the ball or know Italian beforehand you will do fine. Just learn to read and teach yourself from the text.

ALWAYS late! She gives fair quizzes and even a take home test, but she goes pretty fast and doesn't explain too much. Also, be prepared for a lot of homework. If you can keep up with her, it's a fun class. If you fall behind, it's some scary sh*t.
