Scott is the most awful professor I've ever met in my life. He doesn't look at the syllabus or care to address your concerns. He'd rather make a sarcastic joke than offer help or give constructive feedback. He'll tell you that everything is fine and even if you do all the work he'll fail you if he feels like it.

Wonderful teacher! Inspires you, makes you want to go that extra mile and gives a lot of good and useful feedback. Honest but never cruel. He will make you rethink everything and is very open to discussion. Make sure to talk to him because he can give you a lot of good advice and new ways of thinking. Funny too.

I love this teacher! He has been one of my favorite so far. The work that came out of his class still inspires me. He not only let me design what I wanted, but also understood the style while other teachers seem to not appreciate it as much. Recommended teacher!

He is by far the most fun and helpful teacher I had in this school. If you have any problems with your design, he will help you think through it and give great suggestions. I think if you don't work hard enough, just like any other classes, yeah you'll have a hard time. but if you pay attention and work hard, it'll be one of the most fun classes

I loved my Fundamentals class with Scott. He was fun and easy to talk to. He made our six hour classes in the summer more like hanging out on the back porch talking creative process. I gained a lot of confidence in my skills and learned mostly about process. He doesn't direct his students as much, so he grades your decisions - not his.
