STAN THE MAN! This guy goes above and beyond the call to help students out and teach them something. We had a LOT of laughs and cleared a lot of projects. He's a super-nerd for about everything you can imagine and he does truly care about his students...truly a rose among many thorns! Thanks Stan! The Beatles ROCK!

I had Stan for both TCOM 333 & 433. He was hands down the best teacher I have ever had. His sense of humor made the class very enjoyable and the projects were something that could be done in the real world and you get creative reign. Yes, getting an editing studio was a pain sometimes, but Stan is now a lifelong friend and mentor :)

The man knows audio and he's very enthusiastic about it, which can be infectious. He's very demanding though. Projects can take up a lot of time and he has quizzes about every other week. If you love audio, take his class.

Very lovable, intelligent, quality teacher. Sometimes he talks too much about irrelevant or only semi-relevant things. I feel like I could boil some of his three-hour lectures to 20 minutes and not miss a thing. Still, his faculty of the year awards are well deserved.

Stan was a great prof for all 3 classes I took with him. He is a knowlegeable, funny guy with a sense of humor you have to appreciate. He does often spend too much time joking around, and is not always available to help, especially when he has many appointments already. He is a busy man, but will help those who care. He can tell if you care.

He goes off on his "funny stores" that take up so much time... sometimes I just wish he would shut up and talk about audio. Mainly, he drives me nuts... and half of the time when I go to talk to him, I am more confused AFTER I talk to him than before!
