He's VERY intimidating, but as long as you don't screw up in class or try to leave early without telling him you'll be fine. He likes to joke around a lot and make sarcastic remarks. Good professor though, just don't ask dumb questions or he'll fry you. Attendance isn't mandatory. Tests are curved though with his easy grading scale.

This is like the invisible class, there is no substance. The first half of the semester we did nothing nothing but watch movies and the second half we had reports to the class. What a scam!!!!-- this guy doesn't have to do any teaching at all. Why waste tuition money?

Learning about organized crime was extremely interesting. Dr. Brodt isn't as structured as many profs, but if you pay attention, take good notes, and read the text you'll do fine. Probably the hardest course I have taken in the CJC department...so be prepared...also, very funny man...VERY

Brodt is truly a joy to learn from. His teaching style may be a little unorthodox, and at times he may seem a little unorganized; but there is no one in the CJC department I'd rather have than Brodt. Truly a joy.

I never had a problem with Dr. Brodt. He always came to class with a smile and ready to teach. His jokes were pretty funny, and usually served to wake up the class. He's a great instructor for this subject.

Very good class to take outside your major, this proff is full of jokes... eg it was so hot today the strippers at jokers wild.... or paris hilton called.... take the class to laugh at those, class was easy to learn hard material
