unorganized, forgetful, inconsistent, not eco-friendly, loves 2 take days off & just a little bit on the crazy side. If U R willing 2 teach yourself everything & constantly keep track of your grade 4 accuracy (plus enforce fair grading...pffft), take this class. Don't even try e-mailing her! Face-2-face is the only effective form of communication

I would not recommend taking this class online. The gradebook she uses is not helpful for tracking your grade. She also does not keep up with points. There were many errors on my final grade I can't tell you how frustrating it is. If you take this class, keep track of your grades in your own record.

Nice lady, & her class is pretty easy. Follow the study guides and you'll do well. With that said, she's VERY spacey & unorganized. You should keep track of all that you turn in cause she tends to forget to input student's work in the gradebook. Also, I got a 100% on a quiz and somehow my overall grade went down by 1%. She refused to fix this.

Took this class in the summer session and loved her. She is a little forgetful, but very easy on her students and she's a very nice lady. Provides studyguides and if you use those you will get an A on your exams. Attend class cuz you get pts for it.

She's an awesome teacher! I truely enjoyed her lectures and mature sense of humor. She practically gives you the resources to get an A. She can be forgetful and sometimes input grades wrong but she hands out all the notes & powerpoints. Very informative!

Gives out a lot of handouts, lectures are informative but dull. Gives out study guides & outlines for the test essay, study/review it & you'll be fine. Attend class, she takes roll & gives credit for attendance. Also provides plenty of extra credit. If you fail this class then you are a moron. She's also kind of old so she's forgetful.

I had her during the winter session. she is a very easy teacher but very forgetful and made many mistakes on our final grades. Her lectures are very boring but if you want an easy history class take her. I got a C because i didnt try. i never opened the book .

Ok teacher, she's scatterbrained, and her lectures are pretty boring. She forgets things sometimes and I thought she was unorganized. However, I thought she was very sweet and really means no harm. She has a class website which is helpful. She wastes way to much paper she really needs to green!!

(she went south africa during lecture. she missed almost 2 weeks? and some sub-teacher came, looked didn't get any information from susan oliver.) also, she forgot many things.. Easy A, Quizzes - get a handout before answers are in there, Tests - study the quiz and practice tests and there's an essay. For the essay you get to make an outline. I got an A on every single essay and a B on every single test. I studied a total of 3 hours for each test. you can even do Ec. She's funny and not a total bore when lecturing.

As far at the professor goes, I really liked her teaching style. The class was online but she still managed to be extremely helpful through email. The work is not hard and not easy. Everything is reasonable. All you have to do is read the book and read the material she gives you and comment in the discussion boards and do monthly tests and essays.

She's REALLY knowledgeable about the subject matter. She's dedicated to helping you understand the time period she's teaching and stuff. You get points for attendance, which is a great grade booster. I've had an A the whole Semester (3 weeks to go still), and I've barely read the textbook at all. If you pay attention + take good notes, u'll do fine

I don't know why some of you don't like this teacher. I think that ms.oliver is really helpfull. I'm taking her online class, and right now I have an "A". I don't like history, but I really like this class so far. Like most of the classes if you want to get a good grade be prepare, she gives alot of hw (easy hw)but also alot of extra credit. =D
