Ag Policy was my favorite class of my Ag Business degree. Heard about Dr. Greenwalt all my college career. Honestly dreaded taking him. Very nice man, pay attention in class, read and study VERY hard, show up to class and you will be fine. You have to have your mind made up before you take the class, I will study and read outside of class!

His class was the hardest class I have ever taken. He lectures heavy and makes you go to functions outside of class probably once a week that count toward your grade. He makes you look stupid if you don't know much about the agri industry. I went to his class to learn about the industry not already know it.

Dr. Greenwalt is a great guy and a very good teacher. If you don't go to class you will not pass, simple as that. Expect an attendance quiz every day. There will be guest speakers from time to time and he gives you a lot of oppertunity for bonus. Just remember to do you work, read, actually learn the material, and stay on track and you will pass.

You must pay attention in class! He will call you out & make everyone do problems on the board. Dr. Greenwalt is very passionate about agribusiness. He makes you learn a lot of information but you will really learn it! I lean red more in this one class than any business class I've had to date.

I was slacking in Ag Finance and he took me out in the hall and scolded me like I was a fifth grader. I was furious...but he demanded to know why I wasn't trying. When I said, "I have no excuse," he replied, "We're all busy." That was a turning point in my college career. Later, he was helpful after I graduated with advice & encouragement.

Dr. Greenwalt is a hyper little guy that really enjoys what he is teaching. Attendance is not mandatory, but it is recommended. Quizzes and attendance grades are not announced. Sometimes, if a lot of students are absent, he will give an attendance grade to benefit those there. Basically, if you show up and review your notes, passing isn't hard!

he knows what he is teaching. he will point you out in class, and if you do not know the answer, he will keep on you until you have some sort of answer. the tests are hard. there are some bonus opportunities. get on his good side. he can be intimidating for such a small guy. he helped write the book.
