She's very nice and very patient but her teaching method is not really the best. I struggled so hard on this class. i get it she only talks about things that are practical for exam but she's skipping so much from each chapter that you're not gonna understand the whole thing conceptually:( if you're already good with physics, go for it.

Pretty good teacher. She gives good examples but sometimes doesn't know how to explain it. She checks homework so actually do it as well as the extra credit. You have to explain things on the tests not just write something random. Pay attention in class and always come to class.

One of my favorite professors at elco. She's a really sweet lady and cares for her students. The physics department is really tough and she is no exception, having said that, she is one of the more lenient physics professors and I loved taking her. If she happens to be teaching 1C or 1D, TAKE HER!

She is a really sweet lady. She's also pretty clear when she's teaching, you just have to pay attention and ask her questions if you get lost. She'll do her best to clear it up for you. She teaches off example problems and works them out on the board. Her exams are decently tough. Though sometimes she gets lazy, she's a great teacher. Recommended.

She gives a lot of extra credits in homework and labs. Tests are just like the difficulty of your homework and in class examples. Lecture can be confusing for some people but you will understand it if you do the homework correctly. If you have a physics background you can ace it easily.

A nice teacher.Chat with us before class.Willing to answer questions at any time.She will be delighted when she sees your improvement.Do not worry about getting a bad grade at first.I got C in my first exam,but still got A in this class finally. Get e/c in hw/lab. Although she grades harshly in exams,she gives A to you if you are very close to 90%

Prof.Prieto is possibly the finest teacher El Camino has, period! These idiots who claim she does not explain conceptual aspects should realize no one spoon feeds you in college! Even when it's not her off.hrs. she is MORE THAN WILLING to explain challenging stuff and the concepts behind them.Try that with the other phy.profs. and see what you get!

She's the sweetest professor I've taken at ElCo so far and she cares about her students and is always willing to help you out. Test questions come from in-class problems and homework, so it should be an easy A if you have a strong math background. Highly recommended; however, if you want more of a challenge in Physics, she's NOT for you.

Very easy to get a good grade but does not help you conceptually learn physics. She'll usually give you some equations, teach you how to plug them in, but never explains concepts. she won't even work out problems for you. she'll give you a question with the answer and that's it. take for an easy grade, but not if you really need to learn physics
