Though I have never met Professor Cherry due to ECO2030 being an online course for me, he is a great professor. If you read the textbook, listen to his online lectures and power-points, and actively try to understand the material, he will do anything in his power to enable you to pass his class.

Professor Cherry was a pretty basic online instructor. He had fast paced video lectures on YouTube, and the class was kind of just sink or swim. There were no practice quizzes or homework assignments, just weekly quizzes and a couple of tests. A lot of answers were on Quizlet, which proved to be a savior a couple of times. Ok class overall

This class should not be taken if you are a microeconomics major or if you really need to know the information well. I thought it would be an easy A to help towards my minor and I work so hard and get straight 70's weekly. It would be alot easier if I didn't have to teach myself, so definitely don't take this thinking it will be easy. In person!

His class may be better in class, however I took him online and it was terrible. The class is 2 test worth 70 percent of the grade and quizzes that are nearly impossible. He doesn't let you review quizzes or test. He gives a study guide but I didn't find it helpful. When I emailed him for something he told me it was on me. Dont take online!!!

I took his online class. Its very easy if you do the work. If you are slack, you will fail. Not a gimme, but doable with decent work. Guy is very organized and very responsive to quesions. Answered quickly and clearly.

This was by far one of the hardest classes I have taken yet. You have to watch lectures online and then take the quiz. The quizzes are almost impossible.. the class average was terrible very time. There are only 2 test also, again the class average was like a 70 on both. I would email and ask for help, and it was obvious that he didn't care to help

Dr. Cherry was excellent. Knows his stuff. Knew what was expected and what to expect. Made difficult material understandable. Willing to help. Loved all of the extra material that applied things to real world.

This class was awesome. It was hard fun and meaningful. Readings and videos sparked great discussions but the key thing is that you have to do a major project. He took personal interest in supervising each student's work. Allowed each student to learn by going through the process. Ended up with a paper that I'm very proud of

I'll start off by saying that I took this class last year with a different professor and had to drop the class. Economics is not my forte. I did pretty good in Cherry's class and he is a great teacher. None of his quiz questions are online so you have to pay attention and take notes during lectures.

If you're looking for an easy A this is not the class for you. His quizzes and tests are nowhere to be found online. His material was timed and lots of trick questions. You had no option but to understand the material. I had to put a lot of studying in for this class, but it was worth it. He is a great teacher, but definitely challenges students.

I took this class online, and although it wasn't the easiest ever, it wasn't too bad. There are quizzes every week that can be someone difficult, but just make sure to take ONLINE notes so that, if you're fast enough, you can refer to. The tests have the same questions as the quizzes so study those and you'll do fine on the exams!

I have never had a teacher who explained the material so thoroughly from test questions to course material. He cares about students understanding economic material. I recommend this teacher and gained much incite to the world of economics.

Can't believe anyone would complain about his online class. I thought it was great. Clear expectations and clear lectures and interesting stuff. Tests are fine if you do the work. But if you want an online cakewalk go elsewhere.

Okay, so I took it online. The quizzes every week were incredibly hard. They often had nothing to do with the class. It was open note and I still failed about half of them. He doesn't really help with anything. He drops the lowest 3 quizzes. However, the midterm and final are just an accumulation of the quizzes. Really easy.

This course is horrible. His lectures are incredibly boring and he drones on and on. All the quizzes have less than 10 questions and a time limit. Good luck because even if you did all the required reading, watched his lectures, and all the extras he posts, you will probably still have a hard time. Getting a 40 on a quiz is common.

Took ECO 2030 online with this guy. Useless narrated PowerPoints. Poorly structured curriculum. Not helpful at all. Has an almost sadistic tendency to give less than a minute a for each question on his quizzes. Avoid at all costs.

Very easy for an economics class. Most tests and quizzes are online. He seemed apathetic which I didn't like, but I also hate economics so I didn't really care either haha.

This is a fairly EASY class. We had completely online tests and quizzes, so we were able to use our notes. He is pretty straightforward and uses his notes for tests and quizzes. Take him if you have the chance!!!
