This guy sucks as a teacher. Sort of a nice guy but he is very opinionated and constantly contradicts himself. Make sure to read the book even though he never says anything about it. Study as much as you can for his tests because they are at least 70 multiple choice and a short answer. I think he bumped my grade a bit so I'll give him that

Cherry's class is interesting for sure, he's helpful when you ask, and he's pretty clear to begin with. READ your book and GO TO CLASS for notes. It's not a hard class if you pay attention and study.

I do not recommend Dr. Cherry. His tests are often formulated in ways to trick and confuse students. During class he does nothing at all and he does not teach. I would not take him again if I had to but outside of class he is a really nice person, just not a good teacher

cool professor and easy to talk to. very clear and knows the information. dont take an 8 am because he does take attendance… but he doesn't fuss if you slide in a few minutes late.

I really liked this course. As far as Robert Cherry - he's super laid back and chill. He knows his stuff. Number one advice: READ THE TEXTBOOK. He expects you to. He posts slideshows and outlines online, but you need to read to learn how to apply it, in my opinion. Cherry MAY seem a little arrogant at times, but he's there to teach, not be a friend

I really did not like professor cherry. His classes are pointless and mandatory. He posts all of the powerpoints online which helps with quizzes, but he never used them in class. Tests were very hard and although I would study alot, I never felt prepared because we never did anything in class. would never recommend this professor. very frustrating

Very laid back, very smart. Mandatory attendance but that's fine because if you miss class you'll probably fail. His tests are hard but he always curves. The quizzes are online and really simple. He puts all his powerpoints on ASULearn to study from. Great guy, wish he taught other classes.

Pretty cool guy. Go to class, its worth 4% of your grade. quizzes are impossible to do bad on&their worth 8% of your grade. tests are kinda confusing, the only advice I have for them is read the textbook. I failed the first test because I didn't read the book&made high B's on the rest because I read the chaps. he drops the lowest test and quiz too!

he is an awesome teacher. attendance policy allows you to miss 2 classes. has great school spirit and spends a lot of time talking about sports and partying. worked as an attorney so he is able to impart real world knowledge into his lectures and shares a lot of stories about himself and his experiences

I cant see how anybody couldn't like this guy. Hes so laid back in class, always leaning on the podium. The "tangents" people say he goes on actually pertain to what were studying at the time and his stories he makes up for examples are actually on the tests. I enjoy going to his class and wish he taught more than one class.

Class is mostly lecture style.He knows what he is talking about and has great stories. He is a genuinely wonderful man, and makes the material (that can be a little boring) as interesting as possible. Tests are long and hard, there are four, but he drops the lowest grade. Quizzes (4) are online and you get three tries so its impossible to fail them

Class can be kinda boring, there is a lot of stuff to cover. Listen in class, take the quizes, which are practically the test questions, and review the powerpoints and you'll be straight. Tests aren't hard, usually 2 short answers all multiple choice and t/f. Cherry makes the class interesting though!

This was a really boring class for me. Although it was not all that hard I was always about to fall asleep. Mr. Cherry's exams are fair but not too hard. Don't be stupid and not do the practice he gives you because they basically give you the answers to the exam. The class really is not that hard
