Second time having him as a teacher, first time was on campus, this time was online. Overall, great teacher. Everything was clear and easy. 2 major projects, although one of them split into 2. Must participate in discussions, not every week. Quizzes every week, 20 questions, but easy! If you have a good grade before the final, don't need to take it

I have taken Mr. S. through many different business courses. This is the one teacher that you can really tell cares about his work. If you do the work this is an easy course. He is very helpful and I have enjoyed taking all of his classes. I recommend this instructor.

His teaching is well done but for the one who don't have business before u pass with a A. it easy do good quizes,exams,and extra credit. I like the class but I don't like the students there some still act like a kid who ease drop if u ask the teacher for guiding

i took the online course, first online class and let me just tell you, its alot of work, if i could do it over, i think i would still take the online class. it seemed easier, i have to be honest, i last minuted everything, practically got C- on all the exams but passed with an A haha. online is extremely time consuming if you dont prioritize. :0)

Here's the deal, Buy the book at the bookstore (including learnsmart, and cheaper that way). Do all the requirements for each chapter (its much easier than it sounds), Pass with an A !! by the end of class, find yourself as a "PRO" cause your brain will be put awareness by yourself a lot!

Excellent teacher! He cares a lot about his students and constantly encourages them in everything. One of those teachers who could easily be your friend. He knows his stuff and is enthusiastic about it and about teaching it. The material isn't very interesting but it could be worse. Go to class, do all the work, and you can easily pass with an A.

Took the online Personal Finance class--after trying classroom version-having to quit. Mr. Syvertsen cares about his students and as long as you keep in contact, he will make adjustments for you--on due dates. Class is very helpful and there's a lot to learn. I really enjoyed my BA10 class with Mr. Syvertsen. He has a real passion for business (he runs his own small business) and wants to pass on this excitement to his students. The class was easy and all tests were online which I loved. I would definately recommend to anyone taking a business class to go with him.

I took his BA 10 online class and I loved it! I learned so much. I usually sell my books after the semesters over but I kept this one. You learn more than just business, a little about law, personal finances, and too many other important topics to list. Very important class, excellent book, and a great teacher!
