Professor organized well structured lectures. To pass homework you will need to attend lecture. There is one large individual project at the end of the course that can be difficult as an undergrad with little little understanding of the material but the experience was worthwhile. Great exposure to the current state of MEMS technology.

she lacks the required knowledge depth. The classes are extremely (EXTREMELY) boring. she can answer your question about the problems she had prepared before but have failed multiple times to answers student's question from other sources.

Very organized class. Lots of example problems in class. Meeting the whole class twice a semester with each individual student after two midterms. Quizzes are helpful. Fair and reasonable midterm and final exams.

This class isn't that complicated but it covers a lot of material. Zhang does her best, but many of the lectures can be really hard to follow, and contain material covered differently than in the textbook. I'd recommend going to discussion sections for clarification.

Comment:
Don't give in to past reviews, she has really fixed up the way she does things. Gives in class quizzes as a way to keep us up to date as alternative to not collecting and grading assigned homework. Overall, class is not conceptually hard, and will be a breeze if you take the time to study material. She is really nice and easy to follow in lectures.

Not as bad as people say. Begins every class with a review of the previous class which is all you need to attend. Posts power point notes online with sample questions which are VERY similar to exam questions. Will not hand back your test until you meet with her to discuss your performance on it which is usually helpful.

Horrible professor. No English skills, gives no help in office hours, changes grade/class policy everyday, her lectures were a complete waste of my time. Not recommended.

Class is pretty easy once you figure out the concepts. Zhang does not help you do that though. Changes class policy on the fly, disorganized, repetitive, did better on the tests i didn't go to lecture for.
