Not that you have a choice or anything, but if you did have a choice I'd say steer clear of this one. The subject is very fun and interesting but she totally kills it. She rarely has anything nice to say about anyone's work, grades on a ridiculous scale, and offers very little help. I once went to her OUTSIDE of class for help and was shut out.

I really appreciate Stone for her toughness. Shes preparing us for the high level of competition in this industry. To be worth a damn in graphic design you have to work your tail off and shes merely trying to emphasize that in class. The first idea is never the last. But, she can be a bit discouraging at times...my stress has gone through the roof.

I transferred out of this program at FSU because of people like her. She told me i'd never make as a graphic designer and yeah, now i'm graduating from Northern Michigan University as a Graphic Designer. Northern Michigan University's program is way better and the professors are so nice and helpful.

this woman is just down right boring, at at 8am her voice would make even dogs cry. she never helped me and i had to go to other visd students for help. i didn't learn anything in that class from her except that she is not a good teacher. it is all very unfortunate because you have to take her.

VERY boring classes. I had no experience with a Mac and I still wanted to fall asleep every class. Not very good with any of the programs she taught us - I had to get help from another VISD student. Projects are alright, and the class is easy.

you have to take her to be a visd major. If you have had photoshop experience...then you may find the beginning classes boring. She like to use keyboard short-cuts so you will have to learn those. Otherwise, just print projects off correctly.
